Meine Artist-In-Residenz beginnt mit einer Inventarliste auf der ein Mann mit sehr aufdringlichem Rasierwasser Häkchen und Kreuze notiert. Laut Übergabeprotokoll stehen mir vierundzwanzig Geschirrteile zur Verfügung. Alle vorhandenen Tassen und Gläser werde ich in den nächsten zwei Wochen mindestens einmal benutzt haben. Keine Vorlieben! 

Die Inventarliste wird meine Materialvorgabe. Ich baue eine Höhle, aus allen mir zum Leben zur Verfügung gestellten Gegenständen. Ohne Schrauben, aber mit Klebeband!

October 3, 2016:
My artist-in residency begins with an inventory list. A man with very obtrusive aftershave writes ticks and crosses on it. According to the handover protocol, I have twenty-four pieces of crockery at my disposal. I will have used all available cups and glasses at least once in the next two weeks. No preferences!

The inventory list becomes my default material. I build a cave out of all the objects that are made available to me to live in. Without screws, but with tape!
